Creating a proof as easy as sending an email, but with all the benefits of smarter mark-up, commenting, collaboration and tracking.
You can send files up to 75 MB, which would be impossible to send via email!
You can upload multi-page files to create multi-page proofs.
You can upload native Photoshop files without converting to PDF.
You can upload PDF, Word, Powerpoint, JPG, BMP, TIF, GIF and PNG.
There are two ways to create a proof:
Use the New Proof page in ProofHQ to upload one or more files and start the online proofing process.
Use the Desktop Uploadr to create multiple proofs direct from your desktop. Simply drag and drop files onto the Uploadr, enter your proof settings and click send. The Uploadr will upload your files in the background letting you carry on with your work.
There are three easy ways that you can share your proof with reviewers:
ProofHQ will send an email to each of your reviewers containing a link to the new proof. Your reviewers just click on the link in the email and the proof opens for them to start their review.
You can integrate proofs into project management tools such as Basecamp. We have a pre-built link into Basecamp, so when you create a new proof you can place it in a message inside a Basecamp project.
You can embed a “Miniproof” in a web page, blog or wiki. Each proof has an embed code rather like YouTube, so you can display the Miniproof quickly and easily.
ProofHQ gives you and your reviewers all the tools you need to quickly and easily review your proof.
Visual mark-up tools let your reviewers give you accurate and clear comments.
With collaborative commenting you and your reviewers can see and reply to each others’ comments in real time. This saves huge amounts of time during the review process and leads to faster completion of each design cycle.
Simple decision tools let each of your reviewers make a clear decision about each proof: Approved, Approved with Changes, Not Approved.
Proof navigation tools let your reviewers easily zoom, pan, jump from page-to-page and rotate the proof.
Many designs go though several revisions and ProofHQ helps you manage version control quickly and simply.
When you want to create a new version, simply click the New Version function on the proof page.
ProofHQ remembers the reviewers from the old version. You can add or delete reviewers if you wish.
Each reviewer gets an email telling them that they have a new version to review.
Once in the proof, reviewers can easily jump between versions to compare changes and look at earlier comments.
Proofs can be part of bigger project that involve several documents and designs. For example, a corporate ID project might include a logo, letterhead, business cards and compliments slips. With ProofHQ you can group proofs into Workspaces to make it easy to review elements of a project together.
Create workspaces for clients, projects or any other group of proofs.
Add proofs to a workspace when the proof is created, or later.
Change the workspace that a proof is in at any time.
Keep track of all the proofs that you have sent or received in your own Dashboard.
